BJB TC-1630 A/B ULTRACAST (20 lb. kit)

TC-1630 A/B Ultracast is best described as a "work-horse" material and is a staple product in countless shops around the globe. It's difficult to list all the ways it's used in the molding and casting world because users are always finding new applications for it.  TC-1630 is a very hard, tough, fast setting filled polyurethane casting resin system which is ideal for: Foam Latex Molds, Silicone Prosthetic Molds, Industrial Molds, Rigid Parts, Vacuum Forming Tools, Composite Tools, and much more!.  TC-1630 is unique because it exhibits very low shrinkage when cast in mass, yet still cures quickly for producing molds and parts in a production setting.  It is also very heat resistant allowing it to be used in applications where ovens or extreme temperatures are used.  Its unique formulation also allows it to be cast into alginate lifecast molds without reaction to the presence of moisture.

Note: TC-1630 is not aluminum filled.

Note:  BJB has tested BJB Platinum Silicones against TC-1630 with great results but due to the temperamental nature of some Platinum Silicone materials, a small test is recommended when trying other systems.  Be sure molds are sufficiently cured and wash new molds with warm soap and water for best results.
